Palaruvi Waterfalls – A medicinal waterfall with healing properties

Located in Kollam district, Palaruvi Waterfalls is one of Kerala’s most scenic cascades, meaning Stream of Milk in Malayalam. Falling from a height of 300 feet, the waterfall creates a stunning milky-white flow through the lush Western Ghats.

Surrounded by dense forests, it is an ideal spot for picnics and nature walks. The waters are believed to have medicinal properties, making it popular for therapeutic baths. The best time to visit is during the monsoon season (June–November) when the waterfall is at its full glory.
