Day 2: A Day of Adventure & Culture
Start your day with a hearty Kerala-style breakfast before diving into a full day of exploration. Your first stop is Kumily, a serene town known for its vast tea plantations. Stroll through the lush estates and enjoy the aroma of fresh tea leaves.
Next, visit Murikkady, a picturesque picnic spot surrounded by rolling hills and cardamom plantations. For those seeking adventure, a trek to Pullumedu will reward you with panoramic views of verdant landscapes. (Ensure to get permission from the local forest department for trekking.)
For a touch of spirituality, visit Mangala Devi Temple, an ancient shrine nestled deep within the forest. It offers a peaceful retreat and an opportunity to soak in Kerala’s cultural heritage.
