Walk through Jew Street and visit the Paradesi Synagogue, which showcases Kerala’s Jewish heritage.

After soaking in the colonial history, head to Fort Kochi Beach and witness the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets being operated by the local fishermen. Later, return to the heart of the city and visit the Mangalavanam Bird Sanctuary, a lush green retreat home to a variety of birds and unique flora. Continue your journey to the Kerala Folklore Museum, where you can immerse yourself in Kerala’s traditional arts, architecture, and heritage. Before calling it a day, visit the Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica and St. Francis Church, two historical landmarks known for their stunning architecture and serene ambiance.

Day 2Arrival at Munnar and All-Day Tour

After breakfast, embark on a scenic 3.5-hour drive to Munnar, enjoying the breathtaking transition from coastal plains to misty hill ranges. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel, freshen up, and set out to explore the green paradise that Munnar is.

Begin your Munnar experience with a visit to Mattupetty Dam, a peaceful reservoir offering panoramic views of the rolling tea gardens and surrounding hills. You can also stop by the nearby dairy farm, which is part of a Indo-Swiss project. Next, visit Attukad Waterfalls and Lakkom Waterfalls, where you can relax and enjoy the sight and sound of cascading waters amidst the greenery.

Later, head to Kundala Lake, where you can take a leisurely boat ride and unwind in the serene environment. Wrap up your day with a visit to the Tata Tea Plantation, where you can observe the process of plucking, processing, and packaging of tea leaves. A stroll through the tea plantations will let you truly appreciate the beauty of the green-carpeted hills of Munnar.

Day 3All-Day Tour in Munnar

The second day in Munnar is dedicated to adventure and nature exploration. After an early breakfast, put on your trekking shoes and set out to explore the misty hills of Meesapulimala, Echo Point, or Top Station. These trekking trails offer breathtaking views of the valleys, mist-covered hills, and endless greenery, making the climb worth every effort. The view from the top is nothing short of magical, leaving you with an unforgettable experience of Munnar’s natural beauty.

Post trekking, visit the Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Walking through the rolling grasslands of the park will give you an opportunity to spot rare wildlife species and take in the spectacular landscapes. After an adventurous and fulfilling day, return to your hotel and relax for the night.
