Tour Itinerary

Day 1Arrival at Cherai – Explore the Pristine Shoreline (1 hour – 25 km)

Upon arrival at Cochin International Airport or Ernakulam Railway Station, our executive will welcome you and drive you to Cherai Beach, one of Kerala’s most scenic and less-crowded beaches.

Located on Vypeen Island, Cherai is a perfect blend of sea, backwaters, and coconut groves. Spend the day strolling along the golden sands, enjoying a refreshing swim in the Arabian Sea, or watching the famous Chinese Fishing Nets (Cheena Vala) dotting the coastline.

Try fresh seafood from the nearby beach shacks, offering authentic Kerala flavors. As the sun sets, relax by the shore and soak in the peaceful atmosphere before heading to your beachfront hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2Travel to Marari – Sunbathing & Beachside Relaxation (2 hours 4 minutes – 75.7 km)

After a delicious breakfast, check out and begin your journey to Marari Beach, one of Kerala’s most serene and beautiful coastal destinations.

Upon arrival, check in to your beach resort, where you can spend the day lounging on the golden sands, taking a dip in the turquoise waters, or simply relaxing under the shade of swaying palm trees.

For adventure lovers, kayaking and boating activities are available. Alternatively, enjoy a rejuvenating Ayurvedic spa session at a beachside wellness center, known for its traditional Kerala therapies and treatments.

As evening falls, take a peaceful walk along the beach, watch the sunset paint the sky in shades of orange and pink, and enjoy a delicious seafood dinner before retiring to your resort.

Day 3Travel to Kumarakom – Boating Across Serene Lakes (47 minutes – 27.7 km)

After breakfast, check out from Marari and drive to Kumarakom, a charming village set on the banks of Vembanad Lake, Kerala’s largest lake.

Check in to your lake-facing resort and spend the day exploring the backwaters on a traditional canoe or boat ride. Kumarakom is famous for its lush mangrove forests, vibrant paddy fields, and a network of canals lined with towering coconut trees.

Enjoy a peaceful evening by the lake, watching the fishermen set out for their daily catch, and soak in the tranquility of this enchanting village.

Day 4Explore the Beauty of Kumarakom

Start your morning with a visit to the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, a paradise for bird watchers and nature lovers. Spread over 14 acres, this sanctuary is home to egrets, herons, darters, kingfishers, waterfowl, cuckoos, wild ducks, and migratory birds like the Siberian stork.

Later, visit the Bay Island Driftwood Museum, which houses intricate sculptures made from driftwood and other water-sourced materials.

Spend the rest of the day relaxing by the lake, indulging in an Ayurvedic spa treatment, or enjoying a sunset boat ride before heading back to your resort for the night.

Day 5Travel to Alleppey – Houseboat Stay & Backwater Cruise (1 hour – 32.5 km)

After breakfast, check out from your resort and head to Alleppey, the Venice of the East, famous for its breathtaking backwaters and luxurious houseboats.

Upon arrival, board a traditional houseboat, where you will be staying for the night. As the houseboat glides through the serene backwaters of Kuttanad and Vembanad Lake, you’ll witness picturesque villages, lush green paddy fields, and coconut groves reflecting on the tranquil waters.

Enjoy a freshly prepared Kerala-style meal onboard, featuring authentic flavors and seafood delicacies. Spend the evening relaxing on the deck, watching the sunset over the water, and embracing the peace and serenity of this magical setting.

Day 6Departure from Cochin (1 hour 19 minutes – 53 km)

Wake up to the gentle ripples of the backwaters, enjoy a traditional Kerala breakfast, and take in one last scenic view from your houseboat before checking out.

Our executive will drive you back to Cochin, where you can explore Fort Kochi, shop for souvenirs at Jew Town, or visit the famous Mattancherry Palace before your flight or train journey home.
